CONCORD, NH – Concord Hospital’s 21st annual theme event “Destination Paradise” is on Saturday, April 10 from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight at the N.H. National Guard Armory in Concord. Proceeds from this event benefit patients of Concord Hospital Family Health Centers in Concord and Hillsboro-Deering.
Travel to our lush private island of tropical flowers and foliage, and join in a magical evening of gourmet fare and paradise cocktails. Enjoy a silent auction featuring a replica surfboard signed by Jimmy Buffett, island entertainment by J.D., Billy & Ken and the Hopkinton Steel Drum Band, and dancing. Come dressed for an evening dinner in paradise.
In a raffle sponsored by Laconia Savings Bank, take your chance at $35 per ticket or three for $100 to win either $2,500 or $1,000 in cash prizes. Only 400 raffle tickets are being sold and you do not have to be present to win.
The benefit event is hosted by the Concord Hospital Associates, a volunteer organization that promotes the health and welfare of the community through volunteerism, community outreach, and philanthropy. They invest in the community’s health by managing the hospital’s gift shop and the HeartGifts Boutique, and contributing all proceeds to support Concord Hospital patient services, enhance wellness and prevention outreach programs, and services that provide comfort and care to patients and visitors.
Other sponsors of the event include Granite Ledges of Concord, Northeast Delta Dental, Charter Trust Company, Anesthesia Associates, PA, David Mailhot Enterprises, Inc., Phenix Mutual Fire Insurance Company, and Claflin Company.
Every year, Concord Hospital Family Health Centers in Concord and Hillsboro-Deering serve as the “medical safety nets” for our communities by providing thousands of dollars in comprehensive medical care to residents, regardless of their ability to pay. In fiscal year 2009 (October 2008 to September 2009), the Family Health Centers provided primary, dental and behavioral health services to 14,285 patients.
Tickets for the annual theme benefit are available for $100 per person. A limited number of tickets are available and advanced reservations are required. To purchase event and raffle tickets, call Concord Hospital Trust-Office of Philanthropy at (603) 225-2711, ext. 3076 or visit www.ch-trust.org.
