In 2003, Concord Hospital embarked on its first capital campaign in more than 20 years to raise funds to build the Payson Center for Cancer Care and help fulfill the greatest unmet healthcare need of the region. Today, because of the tremendous success of that campaign, which raised nearly $10.5 million, central New Hampshire residents have local access to comprehensive cancer services through the Payson Center for Cancer Care.
The capital campaign ended long ago now, yet the need to raise awareness and funds for the Center’s work continues. The Payson Center relies on "Friends," people who contribute funds and time, to ensure state-of-the-art cancer care and a broad range of supportive services are available for all in Central New Hampshire.
